TEEMO Intelligent Skateboard Chassis – Building the Core Technology Infrastructure for Urban Autonomous Delivery Scenarios

Currently, over 100 million parcels are flowing through rural areas across China every day. Initiatives such as "Rural Taobao" and "Express Delivery to Villages" are becoming essential to rural revitalization.

However, across hundreds of thousands of rural stations reaching down to towns and villages — in countless urban-rural distribution centers and stations — owners face a recurring headache, especially during Double 11 and holidays: a severe shortage of delivery drivers.

Among the intelligent chassis providing core technology for autonomous urban delivery vehicles, TEEMO's full-stack self-developed AutoBots series — particularly the W7 midsize intelligent skateboard chassis — became one of the best-selling chassis in 2023, earning the title of a star product of the year.

 

The W7 intelligent skateboard chassis supports a payload of 1,000 kg. When equipped with a 5m³ intelligent cargo box, it still delivers a range of up to 180 km at full load.

The W7 supports multiple charging modes, including fast and slow charging. With fast charging taking just one hour to reach full capacity, it enables around-the-clock operational capability, providing customers with 7×24×365 non-stop service.

The W7 intelligent skateboard chassis meets TÜV Rheinland's "Low-Speed Autonomous Driving System Performance Test" standards in terms of ride smoothness, route passability assessment, Minimal Risk Maneuver (MRM), and avoidance of collisions with Vulnerable Road Users (VRUs) during tracking. This helps scenario-based enterprises obtain relevant certifications.

 

 

The W7 intelligent skateboard chassis is also compatible with multiple versions of intelligent swap bodies, including multi-compartment lockers and cold chain containers. This makes it suitable for a wide range of scenarios: express delivery, supermarket/convenience store distribution, fresh and cold-chain logistics, factory/campus distribution, pharmaceutical delivery, and teaching/research applications.

Autonomous urban delivery vehicles based on the W7 intelligent skateboard chassis feature all-weather environmental adaptability. They can operate smoothly and flexibly under various weather and lighting conditions — including sun, rain, fog, and snow, as well as daytime, night, and twilight — handling complex urban delivery tasks such as navigating narrow roads, autonomous route selection, emergency obstacle avoidance, extrication from challenging situations, crossing intersections, and operating during rush hour traffic.
